The “Denver Mini Derby” is bringing Mini Horses and Mega Fun to Stanley Marketplace!
The newest and cutest Kentucky Derby viewing party in the Front Range
Denver, Colorado: The Inaugural Denver Mini Derby will be held May 6, 2017 at
1:00 pm at Stanley Marketplace.
Held in the vast indoor and outdoor space of The Hangar at Stanley Marketplace,
Denver’s newest Kentucky Derby viewing party invites guests to sport their biggest
hats and brightest pastel suits for a day at the “races.”
The Denver Mini Derby is the only Kentucky Derby viewing experience that features a
live mini horse race. Following the actual derby, our adorable mini horses will get the
chance to prance around on our mini racetrack with a fun “race” for charity.
Guests will enjoy:
• A live “mini derby”
• Photo opportunities with the horses
• Charitable betting
• Large projectors for viewing the Kentucky Derby live
• DJ and dance floor
• Best Hat, Best Suit, and Cutest Couple Contests
• Corgi race and costume contest

General admission tickets ($69) include admission to the viewing party, the
miniature horse race, the contests, and two drink tickets. Additional drink and food
tickets may be purchased online or on site. VIP admission tickets ($139) offer
everything included in general admission, plus access to the VIP-only dessert
section, open bar, and unlimited barbecue from Rolling Smoke BBQ.

(Side Note for all you Stapleton parents: I asked if kids are welcome at the event and here is the answer: “Not a silly question at all. We’ve been getting that one a lot. While the event itself is not kid friendly, we will be opening early so those with kids can bring them in to see the horses and take photos before the event starts. The timing on this will be 11-12:30. )
