Broadway Market, Denver’s newest addition to the food hall scene, recently opened in the former Tony’s Market spot in the Golden Triangle neighborhood. The marketplace was brought to you in part by the team behind Stanley Marketplace, including Stapleton resident and neighbor, Mark Shaker. I had the pleasure of meeting with Mark for a tour of the new space. Check out the Facebook live video below in case you missed it and keep reading for the scoop on Broadway Market.
What concepts will I find at Broadway Market?
You’ll recognize some of the concepts from Stanley Marketplace, including Maria Empanada, Misaki, Miette et Chocolat, and Mondao Mini; but there are several other concepts from some of Denver’s best chefs. There’s a little something for everyone — pizza, sushi, fried chicken, pressed juices, pour-your-own beer, and retail.
What is the atmosphere like?
Like many of Denver’s food halls, you’ll find a wide-open room, counters for ordering, a central bar, and numerous seating options. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual with a lounge area, communal seating, tables, booths, and high tops.
How do I pay?
A unique component of the market is the point-of-sale system. When you enter, you’ll check in at the front counter, provide a credit card, and receive a key fob to use at all the concepts within the marketplace. Upon leaving you’ll turn in the fob and settle up your bill. This way you are not making multiple different transactions within the market.
Where should I park?
There are metered spots on Broadway and a parking structure across from the front entrance with 25 dedicated spots (125 spots after 5pm during the week and on weekends).
